Mihir Kumar serves as a Trustee on KDSAP’s National Governing Board and as a member on the Finance and Fundraising Committee and on the National Education Committee. Mihir previously served as a Director of Education and Co-President of USC KDSAP and as the National Communications Committee Chairperson.

Since beginning his work with USC KDSAP in 2018, Mihir has consistently strived to help reduce gaps in chronic kidney disease awareness, care, and outcomes for underserved and minority populations through community engagement initiatives, screenings, and more.

Mihir is currently a medical student at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where he is excited to continue leveraging the resources around him to decrease health inequities for underserved populations.
