Dr. Lee graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Harvard College and obtained his Doctorate of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He completed both internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and obtained a Master of Advanced Study in Clinical Research from the UCSF Departments of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.

Dr. Lee is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Houston Methodist Academic Institute and works in the Division of Kidney Diseases, Hypertension, and Transplantation at Houston Methodist Hospital. He is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University College of Medicine. He regularly lectures and teaches trainees in these roles and serves on the Program Evaluation Committee for the Houston Methodist Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Lee fondly remembers planning KDSAP’s inaugural screening in Boston’s Chinatown while he was a medical student and is grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting KDSAP’s mission.
